Jatra of Nepal is a modern, community-driven digital guide and interactive calendar celebrating the vibrant street festivals (Jatras) celebrated throughout the Kathmandu Valley and Nepal. Combining immersive visual storytelling with Bikram Sambat date conversion and rich historical archives, the platform serves as an open gateway for locals, cultural enthusiasts, and travelers to experience Nepal’s sacred traditions.

🌟 The Vision

Nepal’s Jatras—such as Indra Jatra, Bisket Jatra, Rato Machindranath, and Ghode Jatra—are among the most complex and awe-inspiring living religious festivals in the world. However, comprehensive details regarding exact procession dates, ritual routes, cultural significance, and traditional artifacts are often scattered across folklore or obscure schedules.

Jatra of Nepal bridges this divide by documenting each festival through curated visual media, chronological historical context, and an intuitive Bikram Sambat calendar.
